Do you think he gets more money if he makes an appearance? Seems strange that he's always on but just for the last 3/4 mins.

Does it really waste time these days? Refs are told to add 30 secs on for every substitution, so I'm not so sure. But it would certainly slow the tempo of the game right down

I think he comes on then just to disrupt the other team. All he does when he comes on is run around knocking into the opposition and forcing them to panic a bit. He's a fiesty, irritating little bugger and that's good to have on for the last 5 mins of a game we're winning.

i think he'll be off anyway. dont think Sturrock senior is too keen to sign his son as he wants a striker that could do a job in league 1.

Agreed.... But until we sign this striker we need him around as cover - it appears that he's doing his job and with upcoming opposition, you never know, he might grab a late goal.
