Dont know whether to read to much into it but Starnes said in todays adver that the funds for the transfer had been organically found and no fresh investment had come in, that would make Sturrocks quotes interesting to say the least as it doesnt appear that its a new investor.

Which means once again it looks like the CVA isnt being prioritised I for one would be delighted with a great new player but bit worrying all the same  Rain

In terms of a fee being paid, chief executive Martyn Starnes confirmed last night that the nominal fee' in question had been found organically rather than as a result of a sudden influx of fresh cash..

It means that the money has been found from "inside the business"

Now that could mean through increased revenues (gate receipts etc)or reduction in base operating costs (shedding players wages, Wise & Poyet etc)

Strange when there are still creditors to satisfy and the CVA situation

Hmmmm .........

I think "organically found " is a euphemism for a hole in the ground, somewhere on the CG pitch, where a large mound of cash is buried.

Im pissed off with it all as well to be honest.

I really wish we could go back to the days where all we had to worry about was winning on Saturday.Where we could be excited about a new signing and not give the financial side a thought.Thats the how it is for 95% of other clubs supporters be it premiership or this league.

Thats doesnt mean I dont care or that I'll stop doing what I can,its just hankering after a more simple time really.

Actually no I don't ... but sonic came over to say hi at MK and did say he was going to introduce us .... but umm you were not ummm errr around at the time!! Cheesy

I would love to have been in Wetherspoons .. but as my 15 year old lad is always with me at games .......  and I feel pretty certain that a pub on match day with you and your rabble will hardly be a suitable model for him to aspire to ... at least on the days when I remember to try to be a responsible parent...... and besides I would rather wait until he can stand a round as well!!!

Perhaps at Palace if sonic goes?
