if he's only 5ft8 he better be pacey or he's going to get absolutely murdered in this league.

On Rodgers by the way, my mate sits next to me is a shrewsdbury fan and said Rodgers is awesome - but a nutbag. Apparently while at shrewsbury he liked a tipple and once threw a firework at a kid! Good player but a bit mental - but fook it, our team's been too 'nice' for too long. Nutbag me up. Yep, something of an idiot. It looks like he didn't actually throw it but still... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/2982161.stm

that could happen to anyone. It's not like he aimed it at her.

Rodgers will be a bargain for any League Two club. £50k. Crikey.
We've not had a problem with his since he came, and that with his two best twats Ryan Lowe and Darren Moss at the same club.
I believe he's improved ten fold since he came. Was a bit of a headless chicken at first but now thinks before acting, although he can be offside rather a lot.
I'd have liked to see him stay but he wants to go and there's no point in keeping anyone who wants to go. Should have had a better crack at the first team but Dario only ever played him up front with donkeys and has never tried him with one of Varney or Maynard, with who I think he'd be lethal.
Proved he can get sort of get goals in the Championship, hardly played this season but will definitely get goals in League Two. Will be a class signing.
He will also forever be a Crewe legend. 93rd minute dive for a penalty vs Port Fail, then scored it twice upon the request of the referee. Made Vale look fooools.

So a good penalty taker as well? Sounds more than useful.

He does have a high opinion of himself but I'm sure Dario will beat the 'too good for league two' attitude out of him. A team with promotion hopes (more hope than Crewe) in League Two is probably the best he can hope for.
He's fairly fast but is more of a nuisance in that he'll give 100% every time and run for everything. Just one of those you love to hate when he doesn't play for you, but is a hero when he does play for you. As for heading, well I've never really seen him try and head the ball, never mind head it, so I'd take a guess that he's not. He's not the tallest in the world.
His strength is definitely stretching the defence and wiggling through large crowds. And diving.
£30k would be an insult if we hadn't got him for free.

He scored plenty for Shrewsbury at this level so i think it's a good signing if it all goes through.

I bet the coont turns us down due to personal terms. Hopefully Luggy has persuaded him that we are definitely good for going up this season.
