dont worry I balanced out this niceness by being horrible to them and giving them "the eye" Top man Yeovil! Each to his own and all that, but I can't understand why anyone would want to be nice to them. How the fuck can franchise fans call themselves football supporters when the club and the football league place they occupy isn't their own? They can't even find the decency to hand over the FA Cup winners trophy and the history of the real Wimbledon, let alone drop the 'Dons' bit of their embarrassing name. Que all the old excuses for their joke of a franchise club being trotted out from Wanklemans' henchmen

Personally, I think there's nowt wrong with the fans. Call me plastic if you like, but if Swindon didn't have a league club and suddenly one came along I'd certainly go and watch them. Just the same as the residents of Milton Keynes did.
Plus this argument's been done thousands of times before, it's now boring and tiresome. Just let it go.

I agree with that, what AFC wimbledon are doing is spot on, I was at watford vs wimbledon about 4/5 years ago in the dons end protesting at teh club being moved, really feel for this club.
Franchise are a joke of a team, no jistory and they even nick other teams songs.
I will love the day the Franchise play afc Wimbledon.
Lots of the fans in the pub were so plastic it made me boil. This Phil bloke may be ok, id like to know if he was atrue wimbledon fan or just goes cos he lives there?
How man real dons fans do you reckon still go??

i think it's a thorough embarassment. please everyone stop being nice to other fans, especially that lot, it takes away the fun of it. it was always gonna be the orange happy clappy loud and proud bunch that would embrace the franchise. it will only end in tears.

No I wouldn't Bushey, but what I'm saying is it's not the fans fault is it? It's all down to that clown Winkleman.

i don't blame the fans really, every club has it's plastic supporters and we're no different.
the vitriol should be directed at those directly responsible for destroying wimbledon and creating the abomination that is Franchise.
at the end of the day, i imagine the majority of people at the game yesterday only go along as they've a football club on their doorstep.

The worst thing about the owners is they stated they couldnt sustain a club on 5,000 fans each week, and going to wimbledon would sort it out.
I remember death threats at the old chairman and all sorts going on, the move was down to pure money and thats teh sad fact of football these days.
Pretty sad but if swindon were to move 50 miles away id still go

plastics are teh fans that started watching them when they arrived on the doorstep not the existing WIMBLEDON fans.
