League Two

Peterborough making the early moves - 4 players in, 1 Out.
1 in from Grays for £150,000 - that'll pay for Kingy's Port and Cigars for a week!

Ade Akinbiyi moving again - he seems to get sold in every trasnfer window there is  Smiley

Anything concrete on the Swindon front yet?

I think Luggy said he will know about the player he is after on Thursday or Friday. Presumably he is wheeling and dealing on other fronts too. I expect Monkey to be the first to go.

Posh also signing Boyd from Stevenage for £250,000 but sold Holden to a Scottish club.

p'boro are going to have to be careful, they might be loaded but the 60% turnover rule still applies...

I'm guessing a generous bonus scheme has been agreed and some handsome signing on fees are being paid.

This indicates to me that Fola has moved to Wycombe on a permanent deal. Or is my grasp of the English language wayning? Or am I just thick?

Details of the ins and outs from Posh. Don't know anything about a Boyd moving there for 250k?

Anthony Elding. Quite prolific for Stevenage in the conference a couple of seasons back IIRC.

from wycombe's official site...

"Paul Lambert has moved to sign two players on emergency loan deals in time for the clash with Hereford United on New Years Day.

Fola Onibuje and Anthony McParland have joined from Swindon Town and Barnsley respectively
...

Previously a trialist with the club, Onibuje, 22, had been loaned out to Brentford by the Robins after making 16 appearances this season, one of which came in the draw here in September 2006. However, the 6'6" striker failed to make an impression at Griffin Park and pens a deal with Wanderers that is set to expire on February 1st."

I'd tend to trust the official club website more than SSN

however long it's for, it doesn't matter. We'll be able to ship him about for the rest of the season - if wycombe don;'t take him past Feb 1st, or indicate as such, then we'll no doubt be able to get him to a Conference club - and then release in the summer. Won't wear a Town shirt again

Leeds have bought Tresor Kandol for Undisclosed fee from Barnet and Tore Andre Flo on a deal to end of the season.

Also what is the Odds of Barry Ferguson signing for Celtic.
