The thing is, I've drank so much this christmas that like Sade, I don't actually like it anymore (and felt truly horrific yesterday)! But if I have a week off, I'll love it again. My missus is doing a month off, my mate two months... it's all bollocks isn't it?
so who's detoxing and who ain't?

I did ten weeeks last summer, and missed it a bit, even now I've become a bit of a lightweight and am struggling to get my old drinking skills back, it's like being 15 all over again.

I detoxed for about 3 months earlier this year and it tasted 20 times better when I got back on the wagon Unfortunately you seem to lose 2 pounds while detoxing from booze and put about 16 pounds on when you restart :x

I might have a bit of a break/cut down. Cut back on the beer marathons and stick to my old favourite red wine a bit more. I'm sure it's better for me.

I don't think I'll have a detox, but I will certainly try and cut down

This is the water. And this is the well. Drink full and descend. The horse is the white of the eyes and dark within.

Just opened my second bottle of red wine. tasty stuff. I'm gonna stick to it. I think I'm a better person when I drink red wine.

Hmm... I have a nice bottle of Shiraz in the cupboard. Think I'm gonna crack it open.
