Then 5-5 in legs
Then sudden death shoot out, closest to bull has first throw
Barney gets closest to bull, then holds the throw to win the match
Best darts match i have ever watched

i totally forgot this was on tonight :evil:
looks like i missed one of the best darts matches ever! you missed an absolute corker. Barnie had at least 6 darts at the match but missed his doubles which is something you don't do against Taylor. He also had a 170 checkout which was class and he also notched up 21 180's in the game. i wasn't bothered who won as i like them both but it was the best game i've ever watched |

Maybe I'm being incredibly harsh, ignorant or idiotic, but I have a feeling that this match was fixed between the players.
I don't know a great deal about darts, but watched Taylor and Barney discussing the match yesterday.
Darts is still in a development stage, and already has two cult heros, both of which got to the final. Taylor is always going on about how great darts is to watch, and that more and more people should get involved.
Its happened in other sports on other occassions, so wouldn't surprise me if they agreed to make it a ding-dong battle to get more people interested.
Just a thought. :roll:
