by the sounds of it, that should settle it, for me anyway, he's now number one with or without peter

if/when brez returns he's got to earn the jersey back, phil smith an outside runner for our player of the season anyone?

Smith was super ace today.
Some super saves today kept us in the game, good save on the penalty.

To think the Dong fans were chanting "dodgy keeper". He definitely showed  them.

im still going with brez, he may have to prove he is worthy of the no 1 jersey but i think he's capable of it.

You could have a good point there, regarding Smith and player of the season. Certainly if he keeps playing the way he has this season.

Short memories i think

Smiths been good no denying that but Brezovan is in a different league all together.  Height is a major thing now and Brez is over half a foot taller with an unbelievable reach and catches pretty much every cross and as such has the potential to be a Prem keeper.

Smiths a great number 2 but no where near the potential of Brezovan who if he'd stayed fit would probably of had every scout in the football league looking at him by now

it's a tough choice but i think i'd go for Brezovan but just for the fact i think he takes balls well from corners and crosses

I don't know how Berozovan played , but I know P.Smith is an ace and I think he should be Swindon number one a little bit longer...

honestly, both are quality.....which is very odd for Swindon....cant remember the last time we had two decent keepers on our books.

Anyway chuffed for Smith and me and Blackcurrant had a good chat about how much respect we have for him.

He clearly enjoys being a pro football and he appreicates it more because he's played part time and done the day job.

He's been one of us, he truely knows how lucky he is.

He went off the boil and stopped coming off his line in the second half, but good penatly save

Plus this thread is pointless. Even if we sign Brezovan in the summer he will be sold before the start of the season for a hefty profit.

As for the number one shirt, its Smiths to lose....more reason why I was mega pissed off when Lonergan came in on loan and went straight into the team Smith didnt deserve to be dropped at all
