Northampton reject Chambers offer
Northampton have revealed they turned down a six-figure transfer fee for defender Luke Chambers.

Cobblers chairman David Cardoza would not reveal the identity of the team that subjected the offer for the 21-year-old captain.

And he told the club website: "No one will be leaving here for less than they are worth as we are very ambitious."

Meanwhile, strikers Scott McGleish, James Quinn and Andy Kirk have been put on the transfer list

Kirk scored plenty in this league didn't he? Wonder if they'd want a fee?

Yep Kirk scored loads in L2, but my mates said he wasn't a great footballer at all - just managed to hit the net a lot.
