Fred, I think it's the more the media perception of the campaign, than anything else. In normal circles a takeover consortium bid led by a fan with real financial backing would be a 'takeover bid'. With ours because Mr Wilkes had the decency to speak at a fans meeting it has been labelled a 'fans consortium' something I would always associated more with collection £50,000 in a glorified bucket collection. From my perspective if the whole thing happens (when?!), then it will be a proper business decision, a fan on the board will be fantastic, but I think that's something clubs should do anyway. I percieve it more as a 'proper' takeover as opposed to a few kind hearted fans taken over.
