As revealed by Mr Diamandis on Radio Swindon this morning, in his first ever interview.

So if they can't redevelop the CG, they plan to move to M4 Junction 17, (Chippenham).

Thoughts?

So it moves to chippenham, then the loyal town faithfull will have to spend even more money getting to watch a match. Train service= shit public transport= shit. If they do it will have to be a lot of developing around there roads etc. And preventative measures to keep the chippenham inbreds out too

All i'd have to say is cunt, i would hate a move that far away.

I've always felt an area of land beyond the control of SBC is the way forward.

We sit on boarders of Berks, Glos and Oxon. North Wilts council is only slightly north of us and pretty much Swindon.

It wouldn't require a huge distance to remove ourselves from SBC's control, which would be positive. Afterall, they've been of no assistance to the club, they claim the club are of no assistance to Swindon. Take our revenue, give it to another Council. SBC are cunts and can go and fuck themselves as far as i'm concerned. I'd gladly traval extra distance knowing SBC can't get the thieving little cunt hands on my money.

there is no reason at all that the club should move so far away from the town!
unless there is a chance of them lining their own pockets of course!

Swindon Town at Chippenham is not Swindon Town any more in my book.  No season ticket for me. It's not about the traveling, I used to travel from Tadley/Basingstoke for 6 years. It's about the location and principle. If I wanted to support a Chippenham team I'd go to watch Chippenham Town.

And you can quote me on that Ritson. Not that you usually ask anyway.

Come on fella's what's the matter with you, we can wake up at 9 every Saturday home game, get down to Swindon train station, catch a bus (due to resignalling works), get to Chippenham station an hour later, have a drink in The Rose and Crown, then get another bus to the ground, watch the Town in front of 3,000 fans, then get the bus back to Chippenham......

You should be back by 8 ish.
