Everything he says and does is backed by Wills so he can do pretty much what he wants.

Pay for the players, is he having a fucking laugh?  As far as I understand it though the offer on the table matches the rest of the demands.

STA's correct players can not be deemed as assets of a football club according to Mr Wilkes and legal advisers.

Could the players be classed as Intangible Assets though?

Club have told Trust residential stuff on ground would mean a residental comitte to speak to and would stop them holding concerts and stuff.thats the "fatal flaw"

Hmmm....but dont we hold the odd concert (where the money disapears?) now anyway.

How would redeveloping the ground make it any different?

Also, didnt the boards last set of plans have houses built all round the ground plus they wanted to hold concerts how does that one work?

Finally, seen as the club are at 'advanced stages' with their plans how do they plan to get round the isses stated above about concerts because surely they would want to stage concerts as its a good generator of revenue

The bonus scheme agreed by Power/Devlin for our squad is the "best in this league, the 1st and many Championship clubs"Thats why the increased attendnce are leaving us still skint.
I smell bullsh*t again - it's all the fault of the greedy players and Power/Devlin.

The reality is they get no bonus at all if not in the top three, so it is an incentive to stay in the automatic promotion slots which brings its ultimate reward ... and pays for itself.

Due to the fact we put them on 1 year deals we can't really call them 'assets', especially when we get them mostly in as freebies.

Anyway, I've got to say that the MD interview is the biggest load of BS I've heard in a long time....bearing in mind the statements we've had to put up with lately!!!

It's ok. Mike D has been spending his free afternoons scouring the satellite channels for inspiration.

I think he found it here:

It's simple. You write clauses into the property leases before the purchaser signs, outlining conditions that they accept. Like x number of concerts per year, y number of football matches and so on.

Standard stuff I would have thought.

Anyway it's not like anybody is going to move into a flat next to the CG and expect 365 days of peace and quiet, is it?
