...the official Fans Consortium bid has been faxed over to the club's solicitor's.
Not sure if the Fans consortium can confirm that as I did hear it from a third party (a local newspaper journo), but good to hear things are progressing.
The journo also said he was heading up to the CG now, not sure if there's going to be a response though.
He's calling me back later so if I hear anymore i'll let you know.

My opinion is that it will move the boards position from "we don't have an offer to consider" onto "the offer is unacceptable/incomplete/has too many caveats".
sooner or later they will run out of excuses for reasons not to get around a table and talk. In the meantime fans will grow more frustrated at the constant goal shifting of the board.
Godzilla will then come up from the damps, 20 stories high, and eat Newbury, but will spit Whits back out.
