I hope that the caution of any Mavericks can continue to be treated with respect, rather than dismissed as Newbury propaganda.

I hope so too, FWIW

isn't he Dave M Russell's local Councillor? or did I imagine that bit.  In which case we can just send him DMR at his next Open Surgery to do the deed Wink

Clearly open debate is to be encouraged, if it's not people become suspicious, and there's enough of that about already without adding to it.

I think its difficult to have respect for an individual who states they wish to weigh up the argument, but cannot see the bleeding obvious when its  about to slap them square  in the face.....namely we have one shot at this now....rid the club of the perfidious influence of the current board or go out of business, or to the non leagues.

I for one think his concerns and questions have been answered not only on this forum but indeed others.

The have been answered articulately and consicely IMHO.

If Maverick chooses not to accept those answers, that is entirely his perogative.

If he keeps requesting answers to the same questions that have already been offered up, I for one will move on to read the next thread.

Whilst I agree with your point Reg, it's more the 'weigh up the argument' consisting of one sided questioning that annoys me.

If people decide that the way forward is the current board then that is their business. It is interesting to hear their point of view and how they came to that conclusion.

But to perpetually ask questions of one side whilst ignoring the other doesn't constitute 'weighing up the argument'. It just sounds like a Woodie_STFC rant from the other perspective (thisis  readers will understand the reference).

edit: erm in short, I agree with Fred.

As has been pointed out on loads of other thread Maverick should meet with the Trust face to face.  It sounds like it's more the tone of some people's contributions on the Forum he objects, which is a shame as I like reading people sounding off about dropping crateloads of shite on Poxford.  It's not like we would actually do it - don't have the plane for one thing...
