TeamTalk - Swindon manager Paul Sturrock believes Curtis Weston's recent form could make the young midfielder a January transfer target for other clubs.Weston, who at 17 years and 119 days became the youngest player ever to play in an FA Cup final when he represented Millwall against Manchester United in 2004, further enhanced his growing reputation with a virtuoso performance in Town's weekend victory over West Country rivals Bristol Rovers.

i would imagine he would be given a new contract... remmeber luggy said he wants players who can play in league 1 as well....

spot on sonic.he shows glimpses of being something special but goes missing alot.i suppose he is still young though

If we offer a contract and Weston rejects it to move elsewhere, are we not entitled to some compensation? Given that he'd have only been here for one season and isn't 'homegrown' might put the compo value down slightly but we managed to get roughly 100k for O'hanlon and Weston appears to be a much better player than Sean ever was.
