Got into the ground at 25 past fuckin'4.M4 shut between J13-14.Three hours queuing to get off at J13.I was in Reading at 1pm.Finally persuaded steward to let me in the ground after convincing them that the club still had my ticket just in time to see  Shakesy skin his full back and set up an open goal for Jut,Jack Smith to block a certain goal and the other Smith to produce a match-winning save late doors. Was I the only Town fan stuck in that mother of all jams? then Beers

I left Southampton at 1:15 and arrived just in time for Rovers goal.

Luckily although the A4 was slow it was moving ok.  Bloody annoying though.

I got stuck in that. Thought I'd be clever and get off at J12, all going fine until we hit Thatcham, where it was solid, all the way through Newbury too. Decided to turn round at 3 and got back on the M4 at J13 at 3.30! Had the radio fainly tuned in to BBC Swindon, so heard the goals.

Wasn't happy

Took me 2 hours to get from j12 to 13 - thankfully left at 11.30, but a journey that normally takes an hour took 3 and a half - got in for 3.10.

We got stuck in the obligatory tail back on the M25 thanks to some dick head driving into the central reservation whilst texting or changing a CD.  We then got stuck in the afore mentioned mother of all tail backs on the M4. In 14 years or more of doing that journey I have never had problems on the M4. Luckily we allowed ourselves way, way more time than we needed and got to the game in time for kick off.

That truly was the journey from hell and there will be plenty more in the seasons to come :?

I got stuck in it as well but luckily I left Reading at 12 as I got a lift. Got to the ground about 5 minutes before kick off, just enough time to get a load of verbal from some rovers cunts walking past the town end.

I kept expecting an announcement on RSwindon that the k.o.had been put back-what a caring, sympathetic club we support.Do you think they'd give me a refund or a free game Boxing Day?
