Not good at all in the chase for the PO's.  Also rather more depressingly a few of those results also put cast a shadow on a couple of teams we  have recently picked up points against.

Without a doubt it's a must win Wednesday.

Luton looked to have pissed the title now, can't see them fucking up enough to drop all those points.  Quite fancy Tranmere for 2nd spot though, Hull have a great habit of bottling it in the close season and they seem to have wavered a bit of late.

Thoughts?

It could have been a whole lot worse though.  The fact that Bradford and Brentford both lost means we are still within touching distance, although we could have done with some help from torquay tonight!!

Again, I'm in concurence with you. Almost all of our challengers won seemingly convincingly...   Crying

Makes tomorrow night a 'mustn't lose' at the very least.

On a side note: is it musn't or mustn't? Strange.     mustn't?   musn't? musent? hmmm.

Pretty much sums it up......Oldham and Barnsley are now probably two of the worse teams in the league.

Doncaster Rovers, where we have never won and only ever scored 2 league goals, will want to boost their own PO chances, with another all action display.

Don't think Harford will have had long enough to instill a bit of bottle into our lot.

Can't believe we have only ever beat Doncaster once in the league, 1966 do you remember it Reg?

Don't like the look of the abomination at the moment thought they where dead and buried.

What the hell Danny Wilson and Paul Mitchell are doing there I will never know.

i think if we keep our little run going then that last playoff place looks ours.
win tomorrow we are 1 point behind but played an extra game.

with the goings on this week i'm extremely confident again.
lets hope when we win tomorrow we win convinsingly.

I think the league win was in the 80's.....the 66 game was a league cup replay....what I remember of it was it went to extra time and Jimmy Lawton scored.

Lawton was a kind of Fallon, inasmuch as we got him from Darlo, and he was a big centre forward.....he scored 2 or 3 in his first season, but his style didn't really suit the team...so he couldn't get a regular place.

He signed in the first season of one sub, 65/66 . I'm not sure whether you were only allowed to use them for injuries, rather than tactics, but Lawton didn't get much of a look in when Keith East came in and scored loads......so that was it for Jimmy, last goal v Donny and one more appearance at MBoro...before being shipped out to Watford.

He cost us quite a bit for the time and had scored 60 in 129 for Darlo...so I hoped the Donny goal may have set him going.....rather as I hoped Shaun Closes's strike v darlo in the LC would have done the same for him

We have to win tonight, simple as.  If we can keep the pressue on Bornmuff until we play them, that's gonna be a massive game.  A win against them could be a huge blow to their confidence.

We need to get behind the team tonight and go home happy with the three points in the bag.  Come on you reds!!!
