If your norton isn't up to date you could try avg anti-virus, it's free.

Have you still got your Microsoft Office CD? You could try uninstalling Outlook and then install it again.

Hey, owe si pi a crate of beer (send me the address via pm) as when I took in in shop it was kinda working again, I didnt think it had worked but I had done all three things.  they removed norton and sold me f secure internet security 2007 which ahs speeded up my computer.
