Laptop crashed earlier, when I rebooted and tried to open my email or type one it came up with:

Out of memory or system resources.  Close some programmes and try again.

I dont have anything else open.  Before this message an earlier one was Microsoft Word is not on your system.  It blooming is and it works.

Any ideas?

Dodgy sites again Ash ?

You really want to take it to repair shop ?

Expect the OB within hours mate !

I threw mine away when it happened to me rather than taking it for repair

Ash, try searching for a file called OUTCMD.DAT. It's most likely corrupted, just delete it, reboot and then launch Outlook. When Outlook can't find OUTCMD.DAT it'll just create another one.

From the Start Menu, click search. Set the option to 'All files and folders' then type OUTCMD.DAT.

It may take a while, then just click on anything it brings up and delete it.
