In response to fat boy Gazza's previous post I just wanted to say ;
That I thought they were ace
No problems with us handing out the revoloution leaflets, was chatting to one for ages before the game about what influence fans could have over a club, his words were ;
Players go
Sponsors go
Managers go
Boards go
FANS FUCKING DONT !
(his words - not mine)
Great stewards ............................. pity the fans are a waste of time !
Go and support Reading if thats the best they can do, I for one was embarrassed for you.
For fuck sake, they were leaving with 15 mins to go !
PLASTIC

The Walsall fans are a fucking joke, take this one for example What ****** me off the most was swindons fans. They were quiet all game (only song 'can we sing a song for you' - very original, when there was plenty of noise on our end). Then 1-0 they thought they were at anfield or something.
Can you say 'you only sing when your winning?' Eh? I only heard them once during the game and thought our support was very vocal.

Quite. Was that Walsall fan at the same match? Admittedly when your in amongst it you can't be too sure how loud you actually are, but I for one sang my knackers off today as did everyone around me. Sour eggs methinks. Plastic indeed. Was expecting a bit more from them today. "You should've gone Xmas shopping". Class

I agree with the steward part.
Comeplete contrast to Mansfield.
Let us stand, let us sing. We were even stood in the yellow hatched area...let us through to do the flags no problem.
They just let us get on with being fans.

Stewards were good IN the ground. Pity about the fuckwits outside. I asked one if the turnstile I was queing outside of was cash, he said yeah there all the same and when we got to the front, another steward said my lad couldn't go through, as concessions were all through another one. We then had to join a fucking mile long line, after already queing for 45 minutes! It was worth it though

The stewards were ace, they let us stand wherever and never got arsey at all. Spoke to one near the corner flag and he said that he was juts a fan as well so.... Had no problems with them even the OB had a bit of banter. They knew we weren't going to cause any problems. Surprised I never got ejected for shakin Mark Kinsella's hand and disrupting the game or something daft! Great day BRING ON THE ROVERS!

Walsall were quiet all game.
