we need to oust this lot asap.i dont think a few people wearing orange t-shirts is gonna have much effect to be honest, not everyone will wear one. i like the idea but you need huge numbers to have an effect. Arriba, I know what your saying re: you can't see everyone joining etc. However, I'm quite prepared to be the only one in the stadium wearing orange, because I'll know that my feelings for the current state of play will be know by everyone that passes me by. If I am the lone orange "soldier" (ok ok I'm taking this revolution theme too far now) then fine, I'll carry on on my lonesome. However if some other fans join in and we can get that us together might just have an effect on the outcome then even better. If a majority got involved them I'd be absolutely over the effin moon!!! Come on mate, just give it a go and see what happens.

STFC Press Release
Dealing with these matters in the public eye is distracting and potentially damaging to the well being of the Club.
l So what's wrong with the public eye? What's the problem with a bit of openness and transparency? Anyone would thing they had something(s) to hide.....................

Could be true, on the other hand I think it is a complete load of rubbish.
The club have release lie after fucking lie and this fits in with this strategy.
If investors were that easy to come by they would have sold already.
The games have commenced.

Total and utter BS.
Mike W offered to speak to SSW twice last month, and was turned down.
Investors...they've found none in five years...and suddenly when BP is on the scene, they've suddenly found two.
The sooner these gits are out the better.

According to the poll I did earlier in the week, most of you are in favour of the orange protest as opposed to a full scale demo. Which I understand and support.
But if this type of shit is all the board has to offer, it's not gonna be long before we all get vocal.
I'm losing patience with these arseholes...............

Bob made it clear in an "off the record" chat with Gazza after the AGM that he would be back.
The sheer presence of him sat at the top table at the AGM depicts that fact That's right he said.... Top Man, Spoke to him at the game yesterday, Was very polite and forthcoming. Here is some of the stuff he said after I interrogated him Wink
- Glenn Hoddle wont be coming back as he is too expensive
- When i asked if any "big" names had applied for the managers job he said, yes many and one rhymes with weetabix which is obviously Graham Rix. I told him I dont want him anywhere near the club especially the youth team, he laughed. I also noted I did not see Rix as a "big" name.
- I mentioned Teddy Sherringham and his eyes lit up and said "Wow, now that would be a sexy option"... IMO Wont happen though and West Ham wont give us permission either to talk to him.
- Holt wouldn't answer if Lou Macari had applied but smiled when I tried to get it out of him....
- I asked him if he was coming back as a director now Wise was gone he said "thats a good possibility"
- Bob made it clear him and Wise did not get along with him and went as far as to say he disliked the guy for the way he left the club after a couple of months and made it clear he disliked him. I'd imagine the first part of this relates to the "un-named party" as he claimed he was that person Wise couldn't work with in the AGM.
- Said he has a passion for Swindon Town but not a football fan.
- He spent £25.00 on 50/50 tickets etc and said if he won he would put the money back into the club.
Then he went back upstairs!

I'm losing patience with these arseholes............... If someone said on BBC Swindon to Shaun Hodgetts that people wearing orange are protesting I reckon it could get a lot of publicity. Plus it would annoy Spacey.

However, I'm quite prepared to be the only one in the stadium wearing orange. As I was on Tuesday....I mentioned this to Paul Davis yesterday and he pointed out that no-one else was wearing orange because it hasn't been launched yet, and I had therefore started the premature revolution, d'oh! Well I didn't care, in fact if I'm the first I'm delighted! :winking: Viva la orange revolution Donkey

Call me cynical, this press release came out just before the phone in on RS tonight.
Ed, this is total bollocks.
It's a Greek conspiracy.
