win or bust.

If we lose we're 13 points off top spot and can kiss the championship goodbye which isnt good enough

Fuck championship !!! WE ( Tongue ) our target is to win promotion !!!

to me its not, with the player we have we shouldnt be doing anything other than winning this division...

nope, high standards.

The aim of the game is to win....2nd place is just the first loser.

We have the players, the large majoirty have done it at a higher level.

Very few of our players have 'done it' at a higher level, and those that have are in the twilight of their careers.

J. Smith
Williams
Ifil
Nicholas
Evans
Peacock
Roberts
Brown

have all cut it in higher leagues and done very well to.

Notice that Williams, Evans & Peacock was the spine of the team at the start of the season and isnt now!

Jack Smith - Played a handful of times for Watford, wouldn't say that was cutting it at a higher level.
Williams - Still reasonable at this level, most definately in the twilight years though.
Ifil - Had he played at all before he joined us?
Nicho - Has only ever played for us.
Evans - See Williams
Peacock - Twilight years.
Roberts - Fair enough, getting towards the end of his career. Never been the same since the drink problem.
Brown - Fair enough, but he's shit now.

I expect that you're including most of these players due to the play-off season. Yes, they were in the team. A team carried by Parkin and Mooney.

As true as that may be, there is a very good reason for them playing for a League 2 side this year. And a few of them not making a good job of that!

I'm not saying that isnt the case....

....but surely some of them are better than league two, their previous record suggests so...

Maybe that's one of the problems?

A few of them look like they think they're too good for league 2:

Not enough effort and from what Sturrocks been saying, a lot of them don't feel they need to listen to the manager.

As i've said, most are on the wane due to age/alcohol/apathy/generally not giving a fuck.

age is no excuse unless you havent looked after yourself.

Infact dont we only have 3 players OVER the age of 30. Williams, Vincent and Evans?
