I'm wanting to put my friends wedding onto a dvd but the camcorder they used doesn't have a firewire connector to go onto my pc.
all it has is an AV OUT connector and wasn't sure if there is an adapter i could find which would connect the two.
any help would be appreciated

You need to connect it using the S-Video port on the camcorder.

Should still work if you've got a TV tuner card in your PC.

You can get adapters for usb but they're expensive and I don't think the resolution tends to be great. The only other option I can think of is getting a tv card which could work out slightly cheaper anyways.

You dumbass I would have done that anyway because it sounds easier/less expensive :-))( Did you think you could make a connection by magic or something?
