one of you thinks you are some sort of footballing genius that has a licence to wander all over the pitch but you gain jack shit from it,and neither does the team.(you are a centre forward for fucks sake and we aint scoring)play up front!you moaned when you were played out wide.
the other is a donkey who despite being about 14 stone struggles to stand up and cannot hit a cows arse with a banjo.
the clock is ticking.bye bye to you both i think.
and dont even get me started on shakes :x

Were you there last night?
Just showed that Peacock brings alot more to this side than people give him credit for.
The Mansfield centre halfs have a free run all night, barely a single challenge on them. They won just about every header going.
Lukas give to give them a fight, but they were twice the size of him. We didnt win anything in the final 3rd, crosses came in and no one attacked them.
Lukas looked knackered after 20 minutes and Roberts didnt sprint once all night.
I know hating Lee Peacock is now the 'in' thing....but it was clear last night that he was missed because without him the ball doesnt stick in the final 3rd and comes straight back at us.

Well said DV.
Peacock is still our best centre forward. Yes, he might not score many goals, but he holds the ball up well and causes problems for defenders.
We just need a real goal-poacher to play with him.

If you want someone to win headers, hold the ball up and challenge the defence you wont get better than Peacock. Who I believe was injured so couldnt have played, but we do miss him when he isnt there....

Totally agree with you DV - We miss peacock when he is not in the team, yes he falls over but least he makes an attempt to get the bloddy thing, which is more than what can be said about Roberts.
Peacock is very similar player to Mooney ( when he was liked) and needs a goal scorer alongside him.

Lucas Dukeysbitch does seem to have impressed PS.
Peacock's alright just frustrating to watch at times, Roberts likewise. As some old fella used to say
"We need a number nine".

We just need a real goal-poacher to play with him. [/b] Kenny Duechar from Gretna is available. He handed in a transfer request a couple of weeks ago because he's down the pecking order now for some bizzare reason after banging in 40 odd goals last season. And i dont think he is on a long term contract either so any fee would probably be negligable. And he knows were the goal is! Might be worth a look come january. If Luggy drops Robert's on sat(and it's a big if), and assuming Peacks is fit, i would'nt be surprised to see Lucas and Peacks be given a go. Could THAT work? Millom

I dont think Gretna have been part timers for a couple of seasons now Red Macca so i dunno whether being a doctor who only does one day a week at hospital to keep his hand in would be an issue.( I wonder if he is a gynaecologist keeping his hand in?) :groan1: See below links. http://www.gretnafootballclub.co.uk/news/?p=179And http://www.gretnafootballclub.co.uk/squad/profiles/deucharSoz about the font size Fred but i thought old uns :old: such as yourself need help with the reading in your golden years. Anyway, it also helps all the drunks(me included) who get on here see clearly what it is im saying. Millom
