Spuddy's right, that's the start of the revolution, it's not too much to ask you fella's to find something orange to wear, or show, at the match is it?

(PLEASE NOTE THIS WON'T BE AS HARD AS YOU IMAGINE - MORE SOON!)

We need to show the current board members that we're not happy, we support the fans consortium and that their time is coming to an end.

So you've managed to get hold of 5000 orange tshirts?

Buy a fucking Donnay one. It'll probably cost 50p and they always have hideous colours like bright Orange.

Yeah but sadly its impossible to get word out to 500 people before the game when the Adver and RS have to be seen as impartial. So the only way to do it is to have truck loads of them on the day and hand them out free...whcih is impossible

I think a Clockwork Orange protest would be better all wear Cod Pieces and Bowler hats.

Couldn't the trust do a leaflet drop at the Walsall game?

Just something along the lines of 'wear orange at the Rovers game if you're dissatisfied with the way your club is being run'.

Just boght a nice orange beanie on ebay!

Lads it doesn't have to be orange clothing, could be wigs, ribbon, hats, scarves, bits of card, a f**king traffic cone anything!!!  Time to use the ol'imagination.

This may not be the big impact start that we want, but who knows over the next few matches it could just grow and grow!!!

That's what's so good about jan's orange revolution idea - it allows people to very visibly show dissent but without distracting the players (or for the more cynical among you, giving the players the excuse of being distracted). Because Maverick does have a good point about that - the fastest way to divide the fanbase and turn people against the whole idea of the consortium would be to unsettle what is currently a successful, albeit extremely lucky, team.

And in reply to Moonraker, actually it's a lot more likely to attract press coverage than a bunch of us being lairy outside the Arkells - those kind of demos are quite common - whereas something like the "orange revolution" is not only novel in football but has a resonance that goes beyond football. I'm going dressed as a chocolate orange with a big sign saying "It's not Diamandis' club, it's ours" (erm, or I might just wear an armband so I can actually get through the turnstile).

Paul, fair enough - sorry for my moment of scepticism. I hope it works, and i'll be joining in. Why not launch it for this weekend - it'd be anohter way of gettng alot of fans to see it prior to the Rovers game
