These so called "youth firms" ar cropping up all over the place now apparantly. Unfortunately thre is nothing more interesting to do/waste money on in Swindon so they have started one.

I blame the town of Melksham (even if that is a bit general)

 Cool

There's loads to do for yoofs in Swindonia.....I know because I used to be one and my two lads are still yoofs of a sort.

I thought Calne was the epicentre of riotous chav culture in Wiltshire.....

When I first started posting on thisis, I concluded that Sonic Youth must have been in Supersonic's youth firm, and that Tails was also somehow implicated.

I think I'd been reading ITK too much Tongue

The thing is any group of lads who go drinking before a game and get a bit excited at the game get called a 'firm'.  It takes a lot to organise a firm, thing is now days with CCTV its getting harder and harder to outwit the old bill

Have to love it when the old boys start singing "YOUR GONNA GET YOUR FUCKIN HEADS KICKED IN" then the 12 yr old kids at the front start singing it later in the game, despite they would be the first to leg it!  Cool

In theory yes but I am too fat to be mobile. I'd run 5 foot, collapse and call for a 5 minute to break to regain my breath. Then do it over again if I was still concious from the severe kicking I would receive.

Not sure what year it was ('93 or '94'?) But can anyone remember when Leicester city fans invaded the pitch at the end of the game and rushed the Shrivvy Road Terrace?

All game the Swindon 'boys' were chanting 'you're gonna get your fucking heads kicked in'.

Never seen a terrace empty so quickly..............!

Well I stood my ground. I'd have happily debated the impact of multi-culturalism in the East Midlands.

I guess having been around in the 60's, 70's and 80's when things could get distinctly lairy, you get a feel for what's posturing and what's malicious.

The game v Rovers.....should be interesting.

Indeed. We still owe them one for that random attack on the Queens Tap.

Think Yeovil will be looking after that.  I'm tempted to lob satsumas at the Board.
