is it possible for me to somehow save a movie i have on dvd to my pc then send it to my video ipod?

if so how do i save the dvd to my pc??

i've not done it myself but to save the DVD onto your PC should be quite simple,
When you insert you DVD into your PC it shuold come up with an option on how you would like to op the files.
Choose the option that says "open folder"
This shold then open up your DVD and within you shuold have an AUDIO_TS option and a VIDEO_TS folder,
Should be as simple has just dropping and dragging these two icons into a folder on your desktop/my comp/mydocs.

Like i said, ive not done it before so there may be more to it.

didnt really work, picture didnt come out right, how did u do yours?

Is the DVD a ripped copy or a legit copy?

If it's ripped you may just have to run it through a converter to get it in the right format.

it a legit copy, do i still need to use handbrake?

Should still do the trick but hang fire first and see what Si comes up with (maybe hell of a lot easier) he's usually the dogs testicles at this sort of thing.

There are a couple of bits of software to download, but its all free.

Its time consuming, but worth it in the end.

There's a less time consuming method using quicktime pro if you haven't already done it SwindonTownFC.

You have less control over the frame rate etc, but it's quicker to do I think. Lemme know if you need details.

Scrap that, I've just found out it has to be in quicktime format and not dvd format for it to work.

Probably best give Dazzza's suggestion a whirl, didn't see that before but looks simple enough.
