going to be a Warney paradise by day 3 .. and with us batting 2nd .. looks like weve lost the first test again .. still we did that last time as well

Have we?

And there i was thinking that we hadnt batted yet.

Inevitable tho wasnt it .. weve batted now - 3 down already!

Bell and PK are along with Strauss are England's best batsmen and they've got to go big tomorrow. If they are going to be as good as their talent suggests tomorrow's a good place to start.

Aussies are well up themselves and think the game is won already.

After all that England gave out in 2005... especially the contrived 'craziness' displayed by the so called 'Barmy Army', I reckon they should take the piss as much as possible... Stick Andrew Johns in the lineup for the next game.

Strauss and Collingwood Dismissal were Awful. Strauss the hook shot, Collingwood playing a ball on off-stump on the walk and onto the onside.

Sorry, realised that it is the same link as before.

Masochist ? ....Yeah ! Unfortunately I work with a load of Aussies and have been giving them greif since we won back the Ashes. Need to watch this shite now to see if there is anything I can use in defence...Haven't seen anything from the first 2 days though !

Anyone outside the UK looking for commentary can try this

http://www.sportinglife.com/clients/bet365/cricket/ashes2006/

and click on the link to "commentary" on the left.

...not entirely sure if you need an account for it to work though.

Fingers crossed for day 3 then... bit cloudy here this morning, which could spell trouble for our remaining batsmen early on. I'm looking forward to watching a Pietersen ton though!  Cool

Peitersen gone for 16, Freddie followed him into the pavilion pretty quickly with a ruddy duck. If we get to day 4 it'll be a miracle, let alone getting a draw
