Don't like the idea of loaning out players to teams in the same div, although I back PS 100%.

It's been said many, many times... Paul Sturrock's updates are awesome. Immediate explainations are the way forward.

Kudos.

Sounds like a player coming in is defo a midfielder - Sturrock says that he wants to bring someone else in aside from a midfielder. Suggests one player is in the bag

Monkey is very bad at keeping shape ... drifts too much ... and is prone to injury. Can see the logic.

"Andy Monkhouse has gone to Hartlepool United and Charlie Comyn-Platt has gone to Grays Athletic for a month's loan each. Looking at the reserve team fixtures we don't have a lot of regular fixtures and both players could benefit from playing regular, competitive games in my opinion. Andy has been out for four weeks with his hamstring injury and looked as though he had been out. Sofiene Zaaboub and Aaron Brown have done ok on the left hand side and David Stroud and Andy Caton also offer cover in that area.

We are very hopeful of adding to the squad. There is one player in the pipeline and I will be making more calls before the 5pm deadline to see if we can add to the squad, because I would like to bring one more in aside from a midfielder.

Paul Evans has had a scan and we now await the results but we have welcomed Aaron Brown and Jamie Vincent into training this week.

The Under 18's appointment is now close and we are now finalizing things before we are in the position to announce it. Once we have the new Under 18's manager in place we will be able to do a lot more work with the younger players. It will take time but hopefully we will be seeing more kids coming through to the first team. The performance against Swansea City was very encouraging and there are some good young players coming through now."
