With City about to sign Grant Holt from Forest, that moves Jevons down to number 4 in their pecking order - I know he's hardly setting the world alight there, but some strikers click at some clubs and not at others - we've seen him do it before at yeovil, and he's a poacher. Maybe?....loan with a view to permanant in january

yeah, did realise that too - the bloke had Championship clubs after him in the summer and moved there because of Johnson - champ clubs won't want him now, they would've bought up, and most clubs will be in for loans now rather than permanants - and we're the most obvious choice being nearby - suits all parties for now

I dont think we need him. Just get Peacock and Roberts back up front together and give them service.

how about looking for a new Freddy Eastwood from Non League? otherwise Matt Derbyshire of Blackburn is worth a loan move /pemanent move?

Matt Derbyshire is good but do you really want another Lloyd Opara?

As he's played in every game this season, is the top scorer for them and is Johnsons favourite, no offence but I'd wager you're fucking miles off.

Not really no.

City fans are of the general opinion that Brooker and Showumni are the first choice pairing - its just that both have been out recently. Once fit, I'd bet they'll play ahead of Jevons and Holt in front of those two.

and unfortunately the 'current Freddy Eastwood' of non-league, Aaron MacLean, moved to Peterborough for what'll turn into £100,000 in January. So thats that option gone.

Charlie McDonald is scoring a few for Gravesend, but no idea what sort of player he is.
