Cant see how they can pick him for England again. The India no show was more excusable, the sausages are shit out there. But I bet the Aussies have some decent bangers.
One of our best batsmen, and one of the few players we had left who the Aussies had respect for. But like I said, that it now, he was lucky to get away with walking away with it last time. Il miss him though.

Actually my experience of bangers in Oz, even kangaroo sausages, were pretty poor, surely an England team butcher would solve all our problems?

I had crocdile, dodgy fishy chicken :? flavour, kangaroo steaks are ace though!
I never made it to perth but if it's like other big Aussie cities they tend to have an awesome range of foreign cuisine reflecting the international background the country's immigrant population has to offer.

Talking to a mate about vaughan at college last year. My mate said he has the best cover drive in the business.

My mate said he has the best cover drive in the business. in what sense? aesthetically? well thats a personal choice but i agree. technically though? there's got to be some glitch because how many times does he get out playing it. a lot if the answer

i'm stunned but not overly suprised by tres if that makes any sense.
idiotic comments saying he should never be allowed to play for england again are just miles off the mark though, he's been our most consitant run scorer for 2 years prior to india when it all kicked off.
whatever it is, and i believe it to be deeper than stress, lets hope he gets it sorted.

Depression is a nasty illness dear larwood, who knows what makes him tick then he shouldn't be playing international cricket. right, because he's a cricketer means he had to be a robot and block out any emotion, stress, sentiment or thought? how foolish of me to overlook this. depression can be a serious problem, and as you've often harped on about it, you should know.

cheap dig dave, although i don't expect any less from you in fairness.
my point was that if he's suffering from depression, he should be getting treatment for it just like you would with any other illness - travelling halfway round the world to play in what is a huge tournament which will undoubtedly lead to highly stressful situations is not a great thing to do.

I agree Spuddy, this is the problem i have with it,it just doesn't help the team!Having said that i guess it would have been worse if he'd pulled out mid-way through the tour so he must take some credit for admmitting he can't do it at the moment.I think my comments yesterday were too harsh on the bloke, but i think a lot of it was dissappointment that a class act such as Banger won't be in the side
