Reason 1.

He did an interview the other night with the Adver writers. He gave two interviews once of which was recorded and one of which was off the record. When asked about getting rid of Fola he made them switch off their tape recorders and basically said after watching him for 10 minutes it was obvious he was crap

Although King would've said it on the record, not off it, we'd have slated him for that!

Nobody hates cheerful drunks!

Also.... I liked this little quote from the thisis article on Monky and the Wiltshire Shield... Read between the lines me thinks!

"First impressions count with Sturrock – as Fola Onibuje found out – so those facing Salisbury will be keen to shine."

Clearly Sturrock has the utmost respect for  :king:  as he said he was talking to him recently......could be he's lining him up for a job.

Sturrock will do well to emulate King and his highest finishes at STFC.

The speed with which Sturrock despatched Fola leads me to believe that story may well be true. Nothing against Fola, but I would love it to actually be true.

I also really hope it's true that he asked Fola how tall he was and on getting the reply that he was 6' 6", he asked him why he could only jump 5' 5".

I also liked the following:

Referring to the players as 'hard working laddies'

The Shakes comment about the goals being as wide as the pitch and he still wouldn't score

The daily updates

The bit on yesterday's update about looking for a house and if anyone knew anywhere to call the club

He likes a drink

He is slightly mad

That's about it for now.

I don't feel right about calling him 'Luggy' by the way. It's a little bit over-familiar for my liking. Maybe a few months down the line.

If he's still here Wink
