say what you want about him but he has suprised me this year.not as bad as people made him out to be tbh

how many games has he played and how many goals???

6 starts 2 goals, 1 in 3 game average thats better than alot of our strikers, the fact Brentford want to take a look at him shows he has something about him.

lets hope they give us some cash for him .. £50k?

Bit suprised as I liked Fola .. hope he does well for Brentford .. but I think Sturrock has certain formulas in mind .. ie lots of crosses and people who can head a ball in .. Fola fitted neither of these

I take it that your choosing to forget the cup game he played and the 9 sub appearances making it not such amazing reading.

Either way he's gone to higher levels now so good luck to him but i don't think we're missing much to be honest and I wouldnt be surprised if they dont want him come january

Well, he's clearly not Sturrock's kind of player is he? The Accrington game summed him up really. Missed an absolute nailed on sitter in the first half which would have put us one up but did really well to set up Peacock for our equalizer.

Sturrock obviously knows what he wants. That has to be good Cool

Surprised by this, though Luggy must know best, seeing all that goes on. Fola always looked our most penetrative attacking threat, close to goal, except for occasional flashes from Roberts. He also looked better than Shakes and Brown for wing play and crossing , who have been very frustrating.
He has been a winger before, and if Luggy requires "lots of crosses from wings", high up the field, then maybe it's also goodbye to Shakes and Brown.

Money talks - Fola's young so we'd be able to sell him.
Maybe Sturrock/Board are looking for some cash in January...

He bangs in 4 in 5 games at Brentford and we're talking 250k or something - he is only 21?

Sturrock isnt fucking about is he?  Fola was alright, but I'm not going to cry about it.

I'll remember him for the sublime skill on the touchline v lincoln skinning a couple of men then miscontrolling the ball into touch 3 seconds later.  Cheesy

sums him up nicley.

agree!

a bit surprised at this but obviously Sturrock doesn't rate him. tbh if Luggy wants to bring in league one standard players then Fola does not really make the cut as i only think he is league 2 standard

At the end of the day he had a good game against Brentford in the cup, but apart from that he has flattered to deceive.

Well done Lugger.
