Apparantly (I've not seen it myself) todays Adver says we have signed a french left winger who was been training with us this week. That is all I've been told.

What's with our left winger fixation? Monkey, Brown, Frenchie.

We have more of a problem on the right - Shakes, erm, that's it.  Fola and Brownlie can play there but are strikers.

Still if it improves the team/supply then great. Got to start somewhere I guess.

If true, this guy is obviously someone Sturrock wanted to bring in regardless of who we already have.

he looks like a footballer at least! i reckon he'll play in place of vincent, sturrock always liked attacking fullbacks, said so himself on the phone-in, smith and zaaboub fit those roles perfectly.

Monkey can play on the right. I asked him if he couldand he actually stated that he was equally happy on either. Maybe stick him on right, although i wanna see Fola sat out there. I think he would be awesome on the right wing.

And Weston, he plays amazing as a Right Midfielder

Sturrock will want to assess every body as an individual and assess where HE feels they are best placed to play.

he wont stroll in and say well you played right wing but your useless lets get another right winger, he'll assess their strengths and weaknesses and apply them wherever he feels it suits.

SO, if we end up with Pook in Goal, Ifil up front and Roberts as a lone centre mid, I dont really care - as long as they win!

i believe hes going to play left back ... Luggy tends to play actual wingers on the other side so they can cut in and send crosses into the box - so expect Monkey and Brown on right and Shakes on the left
