I shouldn't answer on this post...but I always think England is a very friendly and open country to everyone . When I visited London in 2001 (I was on the school trip) , I was fascinated of multiculture of this city...I thought it wouldn't be possible here in Poland....and now I think the picture of 'open-minded- country is a 'dream'
Of course there is also a lot of British who judge people -only because of their personality - and not because the place they come from .
Sometimes reading your posts I think if it is worth to sacrifice a lot of Polish soldiers during II world war , who fought to defend your country....

Don't take it to heart Bartek mate, the education system in the UK is quite poor, leading to ignorance and fear from some british people - and the posting of nasty, ill-informing comments like those above.

Rest assured, not all british people think the same way.

seb you know i love you and your crazy sausages.

i mean all my comments in jest as you know, but sadly the issue with posting things like that is they're easily mistaken.

i think we need a branding system, like in our headlines or whatever....so whenever someone says something close to the edge we know which side they'll be on.

perhaps a blue cross for smart people and a red eagle to the dim?

I can think of 146 young Poles as well as 93 Czechs that every Englishman should be forever grateful that they came and did a job here a few years back. They were skilled in a trade that at that time Britain was starting to suffer a severe shortage in and they did more for this country than the likes of you could ever even dream of doing. There again thinking about what they actually helped prevent I suspect that they wouldn't be that popular with somebody like you.
