I think Brownlie is perfectly capable as a striker, it just makes nil sense playing him on the wing.
I personally think Peacock and Roberts can still do it for us this year but the service to them has been quite poor. I haven't seen Rhodes ply though so he may well be better.
On the point about the youth teamers, I think that Holgate and Caton are more than capable of playing in the first team if the oppertunity arises and would like to see what Caton can do given a run in the side.

I'm sure Sturrock got rid because he didnt think Peacock was good enough for Championship football
He's no worse than Mickey Evans and he was main man for Sturrocks side

People easily forget how half-arsed and lightweight the likes of cueton and thorpe were last season. I do wish he would put the ball in the net more often though :| |

The fact that he wasn't in today, suggests a bit of toy throwing....he's got a good contract here and I seem to recall he arrived to keep his missus happy. But there'll only be one loser in a fallout and its not Sturrock. |
