Sturrock could get rid of half the team if he thinks that's the best way forward.  He has my full backing, great to see the board have the foresight to appoint a Scotsman as manager.  We are effectively guaranteed glory!!

I've met Peacock quite a few times and he doesn't seem the sort to fall out with anyone. But tbh, i don't know him.

I suspect they had no falling out, just that Peacock was surplus to requirements so was released. That's football.

Lets be realistic Peacocks are best player so i doubt he's going to get rid of him, also last time they were together was championship level i believe? Huge gulf of class between the divisions.

I've not seen any evidence to suggest that they had a fall out as such, my understanding is that Peacock got released by Wednesday because he was deemed not good enough for the championship. Which he is not.

peacocks endeavour and workrate is first class but he is paid to score goals. frankly he doesn't score enough.
if sturrock doesn't rate him then fair enough, thats football at the end of the day.
he blatantly isn't up to championship standard, doesn't mean they fell out though does it?

Agreed.

Players offer no loyalty anymore so if Sturrock thinks we're better off without him then get rid.

If Luggy manages to get a few more Scotsman in the first XI too it wouldn't be a bad thing.

Maybe we should change our first strip to a nice dark blue with white shorts?

Who's up for a Tartan Revolution.  Come, join me brothers...

Sturrock should make this statement in his first STFC inteview

"Fight, and you may die, run and you'll live, at least for a while.  And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all of those days from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to tell our enemies that they may take our lives but they will never take, our Promotion"

Hail, hail the Town are here, all for goals and glory...

Perhaps we could wear skirts and introduce buckfast as a pre match tipple as well, go the whole hog!
