on reputation and previous achievements alone, sturrock undoubtedly for me.

wise did well at millwall, but his achievements aren't as relevent to us whereas sturrock's promotions at plymouth are.

I agree he is the best man for the job, just a shame he couldn't of replaced Kingy.

Sturrock will be an immense coup if we pull it off.

I can see a post-xmas unbeaten streak in the league once he has settled in and a good FA cup run with a 3rd round trip to Bellend Road!

Now that would be apt.

Most importantly though, can we please start singing Paul Sturrock's 'Red and White Army' rather than Barmy, which is, lets face it, is shite.

From a St Johnstone site - sounds like we'll be able to hear the teamtalk from the Townend!

John Blackley  Asst Manager - has a very loud mouth - especially when shouting at the players if Saints are getting beaten. Favourite shout is "Danny! Danny!" followed by some strange hand gestures - this is usually ignored by the players. Banned from the dugout for most of the 1997-98 season after trying to murder ref Shug Dallas at the end of the controversial 1-0 defeat by Celtic in the Coca-Cola Cup.
Quit to join Judas Sturrock in Sept 1998. Stayed on when Sturrock left but has since gone to Plymouth.

Getting ready to applaud the Board tomorrow, Points West said it is very close to settlement for Sturrock to sign.

You said you loved me on Saturday. It was obvious you were too drunk to know what you were saying.
