Radio Swindon are also reporting it's Sturrock.
Shaun says he'll be confirmed tomorrow:
Looking at their scripts, also says Kevin Summerfield and John Blackley and coming in as coaches.

If anyone from the club is reading: don't fuck this up. This WILL get us promoted!

Talk about a rollercoaster of a season!!
Can there be a clause put in Sturrocks contract that if it doesn't work out for the best here, then it's all Mark Devlin's fault.

It is expected that he will be formally introduced at the County Ground tomorrow barring any last minute hitches. There better not be any, goddammit :x

Wonder if they'll bring in a keeper coach?
And what about Tuttle's future? Now there'll be a number 3 down at Wanborough too, so other than scouting (which i'm sure the new coaches are more than capable of) he's a bit of a hanger-on.
Given the fact he was Forest Green before, we're still quite a step up for David Lee, who I suppose must be reasonably local - so hopefully he'll stay on. Last thing the yoof need is upheaval.
Hope Sturrock et al up sticks and move down here too - it knackered Ince out doing the length of the country each day, it'd be the same for Sturrock

I'll tell you what i like most and it's that Sturrick is better than Wise, at least on paper. Gievn the choice at the start of the season, Wise or Sturrock? I'd have gone for Sturrock everytime. I'm very pleased, and for the record i was never unhappy with Wise, but this cloud does appear to have a silver lining.

I agree with Barry, Sturrock is so much more proven than Wise. Just what this club needs. Happy days

what a bizarre time we have supporting this club.
two weeks ago today, everything was doom and gloom as wise and poyet looked set to walk out.
over the previous fortnight we've had all manner of drama, speculations, arguments, debate etc.
and then exactly two weeks later, we look set to appoint paul sturrock - a manager with a proven record at this level and an excellent reputation.
i honestly would rather have sturrock than wise.
now it's time to ride the peak and wait for the next trough, bah.
