wasnt as bad as fola's. fola was one yard out, no-one around him and an open goal. Brown was 1 yard out, stretching for it, and a defender beat him to it. Good defending rather than bad striking.

fola's was pretty much exactly the same, except the defender was tight to fola last week and brown was just in front of the defender today - he should have got something on it, it's fucking criminal he didn't.

Although at least with Brown the defender cleared the ball, rather than Fola who completely missed it

sonic you're simply wrong
browns was cleared bey the defender. this is a fact. fola missed that ball. this is different, and also fact.
browns' job is to create chances. fola's is to finish them. this is also fact. now you're slating brown to a far worse extent than fola last week. i know you consider yourself the oracle but you are clearly wrong here.

Caton was speaking to Mex and Sonic before the game and said he hoped to be available for selection next week.
And dont even get me started on Brown !
Turned up for the game yesterday looking like a postman (nice man bag tho)

Peacock may not have had a game where he had bundles of opportunities to score but all of the chances went through Peacock and Roberts (often linking up quite nicely). I thought the midfield was not involved enough. Brown looked good when he wanted to be, but we're still crossing the ball from too deep.
I want to see Brownlie soon, I said that before the game. Even if it's in AMC position. Him and Peacock could alternate throughout the match.

Peacock missed a couple of chances but otherwise played very well.
I still say its about the service rather than the strikers. Shakes did fuck all, and Brown is hopeless.
The right wing especially is rapidly becoming our problem position

Thats a good shout OST. You might be wrong though, it could be that fuckin god aweful brass band with the bald fat bloke who play's the trumpet topless :nono: Back to Marino. 155 lge games for all clubs with 69 goals. Warming the bench at colchester at the mo. Knocking on a bit at 33, but a loan might not be a bad idea. http://www.soccerbase.com/players_details.sd?playerid=9392Millom
