Apart from Wrexham in the second half, when they played some good football. Wycombe in the first half half and Hartlepool.

The teams have been shite

Jack Smith, Jerel Ifil, Andy Nicholas, Adie Williams, Jamie Vincent, Paul Evans, Aaron Brown, Lee Peacock & Christian Roberts have all decent seasons in higher leagues, some of which we've seen first hand

We shouldnt be struggling to beat anyone

i'd only say that smith, ifil and evans are capable of playing at a higher level succesfully. the others could do a job but they're nothing special.

we're not the best team in the league and we've not got some godgiven right to promotion.

Nicholas was bloody good in our play off season
Williams was playing in the Championship only last season
Brown, Peacock and Roberts all played for a very good Bristol City side, that lets be honest should have go out of League One on more than one occasions.

?

I think we're the best team in this league, and I've seen NOTHING  to suggest otherwise.

I'd agree that we are one of the best teams in the league, we wouldn't be up there and challenging if we weren't. Like i say, that's more down to good organisation and fitness than individual brilliance (Paul Evans wonder-goals aside).

Brown, Vincent and Roberts have all been shit this season so far

Paul Sturrock will be an excellent appointment in my opinion.

Then all we need is the board to fuck off and get Power back and we're laughing  Cool

You have to realise chaps that we probably have the most impotent strike force of the whole top half of this table-that is the problem-the persistent selection of Onibuje/Roberts/Peacock is our downfall. We need to change it,either by picking Caton and Jutkiewicz when both fit or get Parkin in on loan!

Plymouth won this league with Mickey Evans and Marino Keith up front who both couldn't score for shit. Sturrock will sort them out if he get's the job.

nicho's form since 03/04 has been patchy to say the least, his form has peaked of late but troughed badly prior.

williams isn't going to get any better.

brown is not even our best left-winger.

peacock and roberts are decent strikers, nothing special.

i've seen us outplayed many times this season, lincoln last week in particular. that would suggest we're not the best team in the division. the fact we're 4th and not 1st would also support the above statement.

yes we were. our inability to score a goal confirms that.

no it doesnt?

it shows they beat us...but we were the better side, we had more possession and we created more chances and we should have been 2-0 up before they even had a shot at goal.
