http://www.oxford.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=36214FORMER Oxford United manager Graham Rix has applied for the vacant managerial post at the U's arc rivals Swindon Town.
Rix was in charge at Oxford in 2004 but was sacked after a disastrous record of only six wins in 29 games.
The ex-Pompey boss then went onto become the surprise new boss of Hearts last year. But his reign did last long as he was sacked by owner Vladimir Romanov in March.
Swindon have been flooded with applications for the County Ground hot seat and Rix is believed to be among those who will be interviewed for the post.

His managerial record alone should see his application consigned to the waste paper bin.
As somebody on MOS said, I'd rather have Kingy back! Oh my god. That's their plan isn't it!

One ventures to suggest the fans may have to voice an opinion on Rix on saturday. The big question is, would you rather Williams to get it full time or Rix? WIlliams for me.

I'm want to send Martyn S an e-mail entitled
"If you tolerate Rix....
.... then your children will be next"
Hope he doesn't take it as a threat though!!

Since when have we been their 'arc' rivals? Can't they spell over their? Or is touch typing a problem when you've only got three fingers. (!)
