Plus the one to which left Shakes in the box, he kinda hit a left foot volley....another decent half chances.

If we'd taken our chances we would have won today.

i forgot about the Shakes one myself. he should have scored that one! but when does he ever? i thought Brown was poor today as well

Fola should play on the wing, it's as simple as that. He creates problems for defenders, but his finishing is shite.

Rhodes and Peacock upfront.

that about sums it up for me

The difference was they need one clear cut chances to score, we had 3 very good chances and scored 0

And them chances were given to the one and only Fola Onibuye. Fuckin waste of space that player. We controlled the game, should have won really. Rhodes should have come on earlier for Brown, Brown wasn't really doing much neither was Shakes really. And why do people insist on putting Brownlie on the Wing, he is better as a striker end of.

One more thing, Jack Smith is under-rated in my opinion, he had a great game today. I think he'll be off in the summer.

Good news about Brezovan, although they only said weve nearly signed him.

Knight seems unwilling to drop a division and is also a wanker

The bit where Fola skinned about 3 with a wonderful piece of skill  tight to the touchline, got clear and then shinned the ball and it bobbled  into touch as he looked up was classic.

Fits of laughter in TE, and a chant of Fola Onion Bhaji.

For L2 it was a decent game and even had a bit of a 22 man brawl....(OK 14) the likes of which we haven't seen since the halcyon days of Mcmahon.

I thought you weren't going Reg?

After todays showing can Aaron Brown try his hand at another profession? a Plumber would be a good choice IMO.

How were the fans yesterday?  Heard they were pretty good?

Although I wasn't there I'm not too disappointed as we only lost 1 nil to a very in form side who scored 10+ goals in their last 2 matches (I think  :-))( ). For a side who have just lost some influential staff, sounds like we didn't do too badly at all.

Not that good, could have done much better when we went 1-0 down but yet so could have the players.

How much longer is Rhodes here for? I agree about him being a better finnisher.

We know that Fola will miss sitters, so we cant count ourselves as unlucky when chances go begging. But I thought his overall contribution was excellent, making a right nuisance of himself.

All in all we werent bad yesterday, but weve got to watch that morale doesnt dip. Two or three unlucky results now and we are going to be in real trouble.

i saw nothing from rhodes yesterday that suggests to me he's any better than what we've got, but that's the only time i've seen him so far, so i'll reserve judgment for now.

fola's a waste of space, effective yet totally useless - a complete paradox. bizarre.

we should have been 2-0 up before lincoln scored, if we'd have taken the lead i don't honestly believe lincoln had enough in their locker to come back.

we need a finisher. sadly, the only player i've seen all season who looks like a finisher is playing on the wing - when he gets in the team.
