We need someone brought in - if we can afford Wise we can afford someone else.
Most of the people at the club already have no experience and the one who does, Tuttle, doesn't want it anyway, look what happened last time with Iffy even though I'd have him back.
Promote Bodin to first team coach so we have a replacement when our next manager is poached (or sacked :| ).
And as for Williams as caretaker manager - that is fucking ridiculous, I knew the board were thick, but fuck me they take it to new levels.

give Ady a chance :-))( By all means give Adie 2 or 3 games, while a careful decision is being taken on a successor, but we need to appoint someone with experience, who has a decent profile in the game. Williams is too important to us as a player.

Unfortunately....the Board and shit job go hand in hand....even King couldn't keep us up when required to use 5 or 6 loan players, at the start of last season.
As last season the Board were quite content to see us relegated as a cost cutting measure.....they'll now be looking to save on promotion bonuses.hence a rookie manager, and obstacles in his path, like selling any half decent talent in the Jan window.

Reg you have hit the nail on the head. They dont want promotion simply because it will cost them the bonus payments
The whole club fucking stinks

Surely win bonuses etc. will be covered by the increased revenue etc. that promotion wins? Surely we'll get to a point whereby it'll become cheaper for us to go up as a result of this than for us not to got up because of the number of wins we have/will have?

Tom you do not understand the dynamics by which this board work
Your argument makes business sense and is correct, but this shower are as thick as shit.
All they will see is having to pay £200k- which is why as Reg says any chance of promotion will be jepordised in January
You talk common sense- but our board dont

Jan Molby, Mel Machin, Marc McGee, Paul Merson and John Aldridge must all be in the process of printing fresh copies of their CV’s.
Must admit I’ve no idea who I’d like to see succeed Wise. Looking at the LMA site the usual suspects lined up under available ‘managers’ makes for uncomfortable reading.
Mark Bowen would do I suppose

They were talking about Brian Robson on Points West earlier! I'd rather have Bobby, even if he can't ever make it past the magic roundabout.
