The Ride Team snowboard bindings have really nice ratchets that are both easy to crank down and easy to release. The straps are comfortable and the aluminum baseplate has plenty of shock absorbing pads for comfort landing big tricks.

I've considered those, but I'm not sure they're for me.

Good effort Sam, however I am wary of the longevity of the cinches - they are clearly a good idea in that they combine the best of both the 'step-in' and two strap binding worlds, but unfortunately they are said to be unreliable and fall apart too often.

i'll give you a don't buy;salomon sp2 - the twisted back plate looks an interesting idea that might help you whip the foot round over a jump, but the constant  pushing into your leg just above the ankle when you are going down the piste really gets on your nerves after a bit.

Of course if you were looking for 'binding agents' eggs and chocolate are very good for those special types of cake

Stuff like this is a right old pain to buy, good fun but a pain.

You have to be very discerning and bide your time - you dont want to be spending money on something that looks like a Ferrari but drives like a Citroen AX.

Like woooooaaahh dude, you need to get yourself some analthrob 360's! They are like awesome to the extreme to the max! I'm pretty bodacious at snow surfing, I took a gnarly spill last year when I tried to pull a pikey but I'll still be scoring tricks this year!!!
