No, Wise isn't a cunt.  Before he joined us I truly believed him to be a cunt, but since then he's proved me wrong.

He's upped and left, it's done now.

Tutts is perhaps not the answer, but at least he's been involved in how things have been run up to now and could do a lot worse than maintaining the status quo and run things as they have been.

If a new body comes in we could be in danger of him fucking it all up, that said it would be hard for anyone to do that really.

He's always struck me as arragant although I did think he was reasonably loyal.

Obviously not.

Im suprised by all these people suddenly admitting they thought he was a cunt and didnt want him to start with,I thought I was on my own.But yes he won me over as well it was the smaller things like paying for Brez's mum to come over, the committes for fining players ,the attention to detail.

He won me over too I have to say, I thought we should have kept Iffy but the way we were playing gradually made me think .... oh, he's not so bad after all... although still don't like the arrogant way he talks to Hadwin.

i had my initial misgivings about wise, but they soon passed - he's the sort of footballer i like. he turned out to be much different to how i expected as well.

no hard feelings from me, he showed in 4 months what it's taken the best part of 10 years of other people attempting can be done.  It's a wake-up call if nothing else, that only professional people will do.

It also serves as a testament to Devlin that he agreed to get the set-up sorted for Wise and delivered.  Yes it costs more than mediocrity, but again, 10 years of paying wages to shit players suggests we weren't really aware that average players under professional management can achieve more.

I don't want to piss on your chips Rob but what exactly has little Den achieved? He's kept the club in the top 5 for a period of about 2 months. Haven't we managed that in just about every bloody season except the last one?

I can't be arsed to check but I get the feeling that Andy King managed a period at the top of the table in just about every full season he was in charge. Counts for fuck all.

It's only where you finish at the end of the season that counts and if you fuck off before then you've acheived nothing in my book.

My wife "supports" Leeds. I'm filing for divorce.

I disliked Dennis Wise with a passion before he came to this club. Although from afar, I have witnessed nothing short of a revolution on the playing side of my beloved club with him and Gus in charge. Admittedly, the board room is still in the same shambolic state it was 4/5 years ago, but thats for another thread or 10.

I'm too stunned to be angry and call him a CUNT, because I can sort of understand the reason why he would want to walk away from this shambolic (but lovable) club. I can see the attraction of managing a club like Leeds, despite their precarious league position, over Swindon. But do I like it - No I bloody well don't, but we have to move on. Lets just hope Dennis and Gus have left a legacy which future managers, whoever they may be, pay attention to, because whatever he did seemed to be working on the pitch.

I just hope for two things:

1. Most importantly, we continue to do the things on the pitch that we've been doing all season, and get promoted. I don't care whether its automatic or through the playoffs.

2. Leeds crash and burn and I would like nothing more for us to be playing them in League 1 next season.

In the meantime, I'm going for a beer (or 6) and some sushi!
