I'm looking forward to it as well, the last time we played them in a league game was the season we got relegated in 81/82, I missed that one on holiday.

Previous to that we beat them 6-0 at the CG in 78/79, when we had a good side and it was the CG's first look at the legendary Mayes and Rowland combo.

Had 3 points for a win been in place that season we'd have gone up.

Their fans think this is the best side they've had since the Graham Tayor side of the early 70's.

I will gladly take a draw from this game but I think a win is far from beyond us. If they are attacking us we can expose them at the back. They can't keep scoring like this forever and we are capable of stopping them.

The Gimps are on fire at the moment, like DV says without Jerel it's gonna be a struggle but Nicho'll come in alongside Williams and we'll be alright.

Roll on Saturday!

How will the Gimps handle the cock up front?  That's the question.

Potential Team news -

Swindon will be without their influencial keeper Petr Brezovan, and central defender Jerel Ifil.  Management duo Wise and Poyet are both likely to miss procedings, as our their entire back room staff.

I'm a tad worried with our lack of second goalkeeper at the moment.

Not necessarily, we apparently have first shout on him at a fixed price, so unless personal terms are not fixed no oe else can sign him provided we stump up the cash, and perhaps that might mean we can sign him then sell him on at a big profit if we wanted to?
