Try Football Director II for the commodore 64. You can bet on your team to win or go up, it's great. You can even change the players names to make it more realistic. Brilliant.
If you don't change the names, watch out for Travers, he's well worth buying.

Buy football manager 07 Arriba, came out today. Has full up to date squads etc and loads of new features. Will set you back £20-£25 and if you get hooked you will play it for hours and hours and hours. Be prepared for the backlash from your Mrs.  |

The layout for starters. Some of the features that never work e.g board requests for money, wages,etc Features i've never seen work, why are they there? Football manager has obviously come on leaps and bounds and has some great features, all im saying is CM was far more addictive to me, i've found it hard to get into football manager as much as the old days.

Hate playing as reading in that, already seem they somehow think leroy lita is worth 4.6 million in this one, poor research worth nowhere near that.
