I don't bother with highlights, i keep it Old School with Commentary only.

 :shock:  I cant believe you still do well, I make loads of tactic adjustments as a result of what i see on the 2D engine

it's a problem with the skins, piemonte. either use the default one or look for an updated version of the skin you use.

SI have made lots of changes to the match engine, there are now 15 speeds as opposed to just the 5.

guys ive just bought the full version of fm2007, and updated it with the patch 7.0.1. but...most of the players pictures dont appear, they just have the grey figure, also alot of the club badges arent correct, i think this is just with the premiership? also, there arent any background changes its just the boring green grass all the time! whats going on?! ive ticked players pics and background changes in preferences, still nothing.

do i need to download add ons or something?

A lot of the premiership clubs don't supply the information to SI for inclusion in the game, however there are a number of useful websites for downloading face packs, kits & skins to make the game cosmetically better.

Caution: Website is a little slow, but be patient. Check the forums for downloads as well.

I'm using the 3D GT kits, and IMHO they are awesome. I'm still struggling to get backgounds to show up myself though.

IIRC, sonic produced a very good player pack for Town, which is linked somewhere in this thread.

You need the no cd crack somebpdy posted the link earlier in the thread. You need to get that then copy and paste it to the c/program files/sports interactive/football manager 2007 folder.

Say yes to replace the file.

Have you replaced the original fm.exe file in the program file folder with the crack? If not that's where you're going wrong. It's really not that difficult to understand.

Downloaded the right crack? 7.0 version until you update/patch the bugger, or if you've done the patch you'll need the 7.0.1 patch.

Click on the "Changelist" url thingy, it should give you a detailed breakdown of what has changed. If that doesn't work, you'll have to wait until I get home as that url is a banned domain from my office comp...
