Actually it sounds like the one I got.

Right click one of them numbered files and click open with winrar. Then in wirar extract to a directory. You'll get .bin and .cue files. Either burn that to a cd or use a program like isobuster or alcohol 120 to extract the files fully from the bin and cue files.

Click the extract button in winrar you fool  

It's labelled 'Extract'. It will then ask youi where to extract and then you pick the folder (directory) you want to put it in. When you get that far let me know.

Think I have managed to download and install in the end but it s now asking for the CD which sort of defeats the obect!

You need the no cd crack somebpdy posted the link earlier in the thread. You need to get that then copy and paste it to the c/program files/sports interactive/football manager 2007 folder.

Say yes to replace the file.

errrrm I downloaded and installed but the in-game 2D engine now runs really really slowly even when set to fastest highlights speed. WTF? :?

Have you replaced the original fm.exe file in the program file folder with the crack? If not that's where you're going wrong. It's really not that difficult to understand.

Anyone know where to download the patch so you can continue with the demo even after its expired? I use the vanilla demo as my compouter is so fucking slow. When I buy my new comp after xmas I will buy the full game so I can get the kits etc.

yeah, downladed the crack, but once i actually enter the game i only get a black screen

Finally got round to playing this for the first time since downloading the patch, this morning. Had a huge dip in form, only 2 wins in the last 10 games in all competitions and had my lead at the top of league one cut from 18 to 3 points. Goals conceded now more than double what they were 10 games ago, partially due to losing 5-1 to bottom of the table Bournemouth. This can't all be a coincidence surely?

Tom Heaton is out for a couple of months, Jutkiewicz has gone to pot and Sibierski's goals have dried up. Had a bid for Turunen from Reading for £350k which I rejected, which appears to have unsettled him, since then he's only been getting ratings of 5/6 as opposed to 7/8 previously.

On a slightly more positive note, we're only 90 minutes away from our second consecutive Paint Trophy final and have set a new record for games without losing in the competition.

Gazza, so far as I know, there are no patches for the demo versions. The demos are deliberately released to wet your appetite for the game, in the hope that you'll pay 25 quid for the full version. Or of course, download a no-crack version from somewhere (ask sonic on that one). So I'm afraid you're stuck with having the demo bang out on 31 December until you buy/download the full version.

Going quite well post patch. Second season, 7th in League One in mid October. Got a plum draw in the Carling Cup away to Man City, with a >40000 crowd bumped my bank balance up over 1 mil. Lost mind you. The board are getting a bit pissy with me asking them to improve the youth facilities - I've only asked twice - they're gonna go mental when I ask for transfer funds in January. Just like real life, meh  :roll:
